Categories: 2. Description_FAQ, 4. Diagnosis

Horses with laminitis can show a range of clinical manifestations of the disease (symptoms), from mild lameness to a near-complete inability to bear weight. In more severe cases, a horse experiencing acute laminitis might lie down and be unwilling or unable to stand due to the intense pain.
